here's hoping this finds it's way to all the women I meet in passing.
side note on the reason I choose vitamin e free products for daily use :: vitamin e can actually be rather irritating to skin - causing inflammation, rashes and other sensitivities. I was experiencing some redness, bumpy rashes that came and went throughout the day and subtle irritation several years ago. an esthetician suggested I may have a vitamin e sensitivity and went on to say most people do. now I'm seeing dermatologists everywhere explaining that topical vitamin e doesn't really do what we've been led to believe it does and it has been, in fact, a marketing ploy! we really need to question everything y'all. we get tricked into believing we need to buy things we absolutely do not need to buy. anyhoo, I started reading labels and only bought skin care items that did not have vitamin e, tocopherals, etc and I never experienced those symptoms again. I am able to use vitamin e for masks, special treatments, facials, etc. - I just can't use vitamin e products every day. hope that helps!
ps :: please don't just buy these things bc I said they're good. use up what you have an consider replacing with new as you go. skincare can be so tricky bc it does take time to see what works. start small - one or two products is truly all you NEED. and if you want to you can add on slowly from there. trust me I've been run through the gamut of spending $$$ and trial and error and frustration disappointment you name it. start with a cleanser and a moisturizer. add in serums from there. LESS IS MORE.
