Who remembers this? May 2002, ESSENCE MAGAZINE featured me and this Article launched my career to unknown heights.
This is when editorial really made a great impact on careers and when Sisters looked out for each other. Many friendships were made from this article and I want to Thank you Mikki Taylor and Pamela Macklin for a beautiful friendship. I hired many assistants and interns because they stepped out on Faith and reached out to me after reading this article, they ust wanted to learn and become the best versions of themselves and I am still so proud of All of them. Also to my homie Toni at hausofswag, you hold a special place in my heart Always.
Reinvent yourself… Follow your Dreams y‘all, it does not matter how young or old you are, don’t give up and allow your passions to evolve, as you grow. Live your life in color, dream, talk about it as if it already is, be it, believe in it, imagine it, and take action every single day to become it. Trust me ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU CONVINCE YOURSELF THAT YOU CAN DO IT.
