❤️ Last year my mother went through unthinkable loss. After the painful loss of my stepfather, we discovered the unimaginable. Everything in my mother’s life was jeopardy.
Today I see what it is to be a strong, powerful, faithful and beautiful woman in my mother.
The first few weeks we were devastated, numb and disconnected from ourselves. Then, we rose up and worked for months to allow a balance between processing, mourning and focusing. While my husband and I strategized, researched and negotiated every aspect of my mother’s life, she tapped into her inner power, faced everything head on and did her metaphysical work.
Ten months later, my mother’s life is mostly stable. The out pouring of love and support, from so many you, has been more meaningful than we could ever express.
In January, when we watched so many of our friends, clients and students go through the painful loss from the fires, my mother immediately offered free grief and healing sessions to those impacted. Her life has been of service and my life has reaped the benefit of growing as a person because of the values and big heart she has modeled for me.
Gratitude is radiating inside me for my mother and for all of you beautiful people in our community who feel like family.
