Meditation is multifunctional. You don't have to “know” how to meditate to practice it. Just sit there and close your eyes for 1 minute, 5 minutes or 15 minutes. The goal is to silence your mind’s chatter. You might not get there on your first 100 tries but with persistence, you will. 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️

Give it a try when you feel the following:

✨Calm your nervous system. Use this when you are stressing out at work.

✨Help you manifest your desires. Your Higher Self/Spirit Guides can provide you with insights during meditation. Learn to listen.

✨Bring your attention back to the now. This moment of now is all we have. We can't be in the past or the future. To get things done, we must stay in the now.

✨Feeling lost or unmotivated? When your mind is not occupied by noises, you can think clearly and can listen to your inner voice which provides you with guidance.

✨Do you need to let go of something in your life? Fear, anger, sadness, etc. Meditation can assist you in releasing the emotions behind letting go.

Don't think too much about it. Just sit there. Stay in silence. Listen to calming music or focus on your breathing so you have something to focus on. You might fall asleep. Let yourself do that. With practice, you will learn how to meditate. There is right or wrong way to meditate. 😉🙌🏼💫

Just like the Chinese language is based on pictograms, the study of Feng Shui also looks at shapes and their energy relations. Each gua or corner of your space is represented by an element’s energy. Each element in Feng Shui is represented by different shapes.

In this case, wood is represented by tall and vertical shapes such as a columnar shape. It is quiet a literal translation of the shape represents from the object.

Wood tends to grow upward on earth. It has an expansive energy and represents growth. No wonder the Wealth/Prosperity Gua of your space is represented by wood energy. Enhance this gua by placing plants including plants in this area of your space. This gua is also great for creative activities. 🌀

Unfortunately, perfection doesn't exist. Don't bother with achieving it. No need to chase it. If perfection exists, it means you are done but since you're an eternal being you are never finished. 🌀

Your work doesn't have to be perfect. Taking imperfect action means that you're courageous to show the world your work. You don't have to be perfect either. Being the real you is more attractive. You're enough just being you. 😇

3 years of plan check process, countless rounds of plan check comments and 4 scope changes = permit finally issued!!! 🥳

When architects go for plan check, at the end you don’t get a “permit” per se. What you will actually get is an inspection card. This card is like our “holy grail.” You keep this card at a safe place. You keep this card protected. The inspector will come regularly inspect the project and sign off on this card.

At the end of the project, what you will have is a Certificate of Occupancy detailing what you have built and what the space is intended to use for.
