KIDS EARTH ARTS CAMP: WINTER 2017
Fig Earth Supply is excited to offer its first EARTH ARTS CAMP FOR CHILDREN that provides students a nurturing and inspiring space to explore both traditional and non-traditional methods of blending earthwork and art.
Focused on working with, and introducing sustainable materials and responsible art practices, we offer a unique and integrative experience including projects such as vegetable printing, seed ball making, india ink painting, mixed media botanical mobile design, clay pot building, natural dyeing and more!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, educator and artist Jennifer Gutierrez Morgan has developed a deep familiarity and involvement within the city’s arts and education landscapes over the past fifteen years. She has worked to develop various skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience that holistically supports her lifework.
Earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY LONG BEACH, in addition to having professional experiences as an art educator within the Los Angeles community, Jennifer brings a rich background and perspective to her programs.
She has previously served as the studio lab instructor at WALGROVE ELEMENTARY, the studio art instructor at NOTRE DAME ACADEMY, and freelance art educator at WEST HOLLYWOOD ELEMENTARY, THE GROWING PLACE, LEGACY LA, ZIMMER CHILDREN.S MUSEUM YOUTHINK. She has also taught arts programming at the MUSEUM OF LATIN AMERICAN ART, SELF HELP GRAPHICS, and will be leading workshops at the CRAFT AND FOLK ART MUSEUM.S Craft Lab sessions in accordance with their 2018 exhibition calendar.
Within recent years, Jennifer's concentration has focused on Arts Education and sharing the experiences she has had the opportunity to gain in the art field, in the classroom, and within her own art practice. Working with multigenerational audiences greatly resonates with Jennifer's goals and intentions of broadening access to the arts and earthwork areas, while supporting learning through innovative approaches, rich content, and inclusive programming!
