Air Fryer Garlic Butter Pork Chops

**Prep time:** 10 mins | **Air Fry time:** 10–12 mins | **Servings:** 4

---

# # # 📋 Ingredients

# # # # **For the Pork Chops:**

* **4** bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
* **1 tbsp** olive oil or avocado oil
* **1 tsp** garlic powder
* **1 tsp** smoked paprika
* **½ tsp** onion powder
* **½ tsp** dried thyme or oregano
* **1 tsp** kosher salt
* **½ tsp** freshly cracked black pepper

# # # # **For the Quick Garlic Butter Topping:**

* **3 tbsp** unsalted butter, softened
* **2 cloves** garlic, minced
* **1 tbsp** fresh parsley, finely chopped
* **½ tsp** fresh thyme leaves

---

# # # 🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

# # # # **Step 1: Prep & Season**

1. **Pat dry:** Take the pork chops out of the fridge 15 minutes before cooking. Pat them completely dry with paper towels.
2. **Season:** Rub both sides with oil. Combine the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then coat the pork chops evenly with the mixture.

# # # # **Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter**

1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and fresh thyme. Set aside.

# # # # **Step 3: Air Fry**

1. Preheat your air fryer to **400°F (200°C)** for 3–5 minutes.
2. Place the seasoned pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in two batches if your basket is small to avoid overcrowding).
3. **Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes**, flipping them halfway through (at the 5 or 6-minute mark).

# # # # **Step 4: Butter & Rest**

1. Immediately after taking the pork chops out of the air fryer, top each one with a dollop of the compound garlic butter while they are piping hot so it melts into a rich glaze.
2. Tent loosely with foil and **let them rest for 5 minutes** to seal in all the juices before serving.
💡 Air Fryer Tip:Cook time can vary based on thickness. Thin chops (½ inch) only need about 7–8 minutes total, while thick bone-in chops (1 inch+) take around 10–12 minutes. Always check for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C)

Air Fryer Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Stuffed Cabbage Bowls
Your Friends deserve to know this incredible recipe

Prep time: 15 mins | Air Fry time: 12–15 mins | Servings: 2 to 4

📋 Ingredients
For the Cabbage Bowls:
2 medium heads green cabbage

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

2–3 tbsp water (for par-steaming)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Filling:
½ lb shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails off)

12 oz smoked andouille sausage (or kielbasa), sliced into rounds

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

½ medium onion, diced

½ bell pepper (red, green, or yellow), diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Cajun or Creole seasoning

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

2 tbsp fresh parsley or chopped chives (for garnish)

🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prep & Par-Steam the Cabbage
Slice off the top third of each cabbage head.

Carefully hollow out the center using a paring knife and a spoon to create sturdy bowls (reserve the extra cabbage for another meal).

Place the hollowed cabbage bowls in a microwave-safe dish with 2–3 tablespoons of water at the bottom. Cover tightly with a microwave-safe plate or plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes to soften the cabbage up.

Carefully remove, pat dry, and brush the inside and outside with olive oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Cook the Sausage & Shrimp Filling
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat on your stovetop.

Add the sliced sausage and sear for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onions and bell peppers for 3 minutes until softened, then stir in the minced garlic for 1 minute.

Toss in the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for 2–3 minutes just until the shrimp turn pink.

Return the sausage to the skillet and toss everything together to coat in the spices.

Step 3: Stuff & Air Fry
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Spoon the warm shrimp and sausage filling generously into each prepared cabbage bowl.

Place the stuffed cabbage bowls directly into the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed so they aren't crowded).

Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes, until the cabbage leaves are tender and the top edges are roasted and slightly crispy.

💡 Air Fryer Tip: If the top layer of shrimp or sausage starts browning too fast before the cabbage softens completely, loosely drape a small square of aluminum foil over the top of the bowls for the final 4–5 minutes.
