The olive tree of Vouves, on Crete. This tree, which has a trunk 15 feet in diameter, is at least 2,000 years old, and likely 2,900 years old, based on the graveyard found nearby. This tree likely lived through the writing of the Iliad, the golden age of Athens, the rise of the Roman Empire, and the birth of Christ – and then lived for 2,000 years after that. It still produces olives, as well!

Diamond Cut Lawn & Landscape is looking to hire immediately! We are looking to fill multiple labor positions as well as a driver position. Some tasks may include being able to shovel dirt into holes, lay sod, repair landscape. Anyone interested please have reliable transportation and open availability. If applying for a driver position please have a clean driving record. Prefer knowledge and experience driving truck and trailers . Pay is weekly and will be based on experience. Looking to hire a couple people wanting to work, the work is outside and in the Johnson county area. Wanting to hire someone who has experience or doesn’t we can train you. The pay is $13-$22 and hour depending on performance. Working 40 Hrs or more a week and Saturdays as well, if interested apply!
