You know those hairy centipedes with about a million and one legs? Yeah, my guess is that you know exactly what I'm talking about. Whenever I see one in my house, I scream, yell for my husband to come and capture it, and jump onto the nearest elevated surface. In fact, even writing about them...

PT is over for today. 8:30 was an early start for me! I stayed with the ice for 15 minutes!
I may go to Frankfort with Larry today but Tim has no CLS and he wants to go with us. If I don't go I spend the day with Tim.

My favorite thing to work with is light! I have made dozens of lighted jars, boxes, bowls, glass blocks, baskets, etc... most of them with hand assembled lamps. I also love mixing potpourris.
I am going to try a new thing this spring! Machine embroidery! I have always wanted to use my own designs and as soon as we get our son moved into the guest room, I will begin. He has been in our living room since last summer because his brother moved into the guest room first. His brother has moved out and we are going to move the older into the guest room. Then the living room will be mine again!!! It has also been my sewing room for a long time because it has the best lighting and that is very important for my aging eyes.
I have not used it since he moved into the room. I am looking forward to getting it changed back to "my" room!

Wow, my music has kept me busy and I have not done all that I would like to do with creating other things! Maybe the coming of cold weather will give me the opportunity to do more of both! (that and moving a son out of my sewing room.)
Over the years, my supplies filled two rooms and last spring we cleaned one of them out and moved in our youngest son while he finishes his college work. The extra boxes from that room are now stacked in the other room and I still have to sort and reorganize all of it to fit into the one room. I can barely walk through it right now so that will be the first step to getting anything done.
Our other son also moved in with us over the summer so we have a very full house. We hope to get his situation settled with his housing assistance and get him moved into an apartment asap. What we thought would be a couple of weeks has turned into a couple of months.
So, yes, I need to be creating things! Just like making music, it is therapy for me. I used to have a sign on my workroom door that read "Sanity's Workshop" with a santa cap on the S. That was when the kids were teenagers, but it still applies!
