Commonwealth Paving is looking for motivated people to work in the paving and asphalt industry. Experience is not required for a position. We currently have openings in multiple departments with a starting rate of $18-$20 an hour.
Ideal Candidates:
• Have their own means of transportation to show up on time each day.
• Possess a positive “can do” attitude and is willing to learn a trade.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Is able to stand, lift, carry, dig, walk, and push all outdoors for 8 or more hours a day.
• Values and understands safety.
• Enjoys working in a new place every day.
Schedule:
1. Paving and Prep Crew: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
2. Sealing and Striping Crew: Weather permitting and any sunny day over 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Work Environment:
• Candidates will be in a construction environment and exposed to loud equipment, vibrating machinery, dust and dirt particles, outdoor elements, and fumes.
