Remembering what Memorial Day is all about 🇺🇸❤️

Let us never forget the men and women God used to protect our country and our freedom.

Let us be thankful for those currently serving and those who have served before us.

Let us pray for our servicemen and women and for their families.

This weekend, let us take time to pause and reflect on how the Lord has blessed our nation through the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the country they loved.

This photo was taken on Memorial Day in Alden, MN during my grandfather’s 60th anniversary as a member of American Legion Post 404. This is my mom saluting the American flag. She has since retired from the USAF with the rank of CMSgt.

This is one of those colors that completely shifts the feel of a room — bold, but still comfortable when it’s balanced the right way.
