This home, originally built in 1865, was part of the TwinSpires remodeling project for the Tour of Remodeled Homes, giving us the chance to blend historic character with fresh new hardwood.

We sanded and refinished over 100 year old floors, bringing out their natural warmth while keeping the history intact. We also installed new hardwood in key areas, making sure everything flowed together like it had always been that way.

Jobs like this are a reminder of why we do what we do. Sometimes it’s not about replacing what’s there it’s about respecting it and giving it a second life.

Another beautiful hardwood installation underway in Prospect, Kentucky, just off the Wolf Springs corridor!

For this home, we installed Clarbec VBCL001T French Oak, a wide-plank engineered hardwood designed to showcase the natural character and variation of real wood.

The details really make this floor stand out:

* Wire-brushed texture with hand-rolled edges and ends
* Smoked and antiqued treatment for added depth and character
