They make a brief appearance once a year…but they put on quite the show!!
We were very blessed when we bought our property to have a beautiful row of heirloom Peonies. I don’t do a thing to them…and they’re gorgeous each and every year!! Plus always perfect timing for a special birthday girl, add some wildflowers and some Lemon Balm and they make for a beautiful bouquet.

Friday already…middle of May already🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Where on earth is this time flying too??
Despite the fact that I REALLY planted early…the weather has been, well I don’t have to tell you how this weather has been do I? Despite all of that the Burst Into Bloom Summer Gardens are really looking good🥰 The Peonies are starting to bloom…the first Dahlias are popping up…the rows are looking good and got a good manicure today.
We have plans for opening The Flower Porch in early June, won’t quite be summer flower time yet but we are stocked up on our organic soaps and our own line of Botanical Products, the amazing Keister Honey, our Tallow Products, Gluten Free BakedGoods and we have something new and fun up our sleeves!! The Flower Porch is way more than just Flowers…it will be the perfect little spot for picking up something special for gift giving!!!
Can’t wait to see you all this summer…it definitely won’t be long!!

☀️Happy Monday☀️
We are busy getting the summer gardens planted!!! I definitely put seedlings in way sooner than I usually do but they were begging to bust free..so far we have snapdragons, statice, rudbeckia, pink salvia as well as Victoria blue salvia, scabiosa, dianthus and the yarrow and anise hyssop from last year’s seedlings are growing beautifully! I have my Dahlias in as well….I know..I know…way early🤣Much more to put in plus the direct seeding of zinnias, cosmos, calendula, nigella..I LOVE gardening!!!

Happy Sunday🥰
What a productive weekend so far! Seeing both new and familiar faces in the Flower Porch on Friday was such a joy…I am so excited and blessed to be starting year #3💐
Yesterday was perfect for my annual foraging for Violet leaves!! They are well under way to drying out so I can infuse in oils for our botanical products. Violet Leaf Salve is so soothing and wonderful for skin conditions such as eczema!
All of the seedlings we started these past few months are begging to be in the gardens…it definitely won’t be long!! Today will be for starting seeds for the next round of snapdragons later in the season…anyway the basement looks empty now with all the plants up in the Flower Porch😉
We will also be planting Heirloom Tomatoes this year..I went with 3 of my favorites Cherokee Purple, Black Krim and Golden Jubilee…so if all goes according to plan we will have fresh tomatoes for you to enjoy this summer too…there is nothing quite like a homegrown tomato 🍅

It’s GLUTEN FREE FRIDAY!!
The Flower Porch is open and ready for you to pick up some weekend Gluten Free Goodies!! Today we have Cinnamon Rolls in 4 packs and singles and some yummy Lemon Zest & Blueberry Scones!!!🫐🍋🫐
We also have our own Botanical Products & Soaps as well as the amazing Keister Family Honey!!!
We will be here all day….let me know if you need a later in the day pick up time and I will happily hold something back for you!!
💚We are at 7028 Reno Dr in Louisville, just pull all the way up the drive and we are in the side porch…we take cash, Venmo and Credit Cards💚

🌼Happy Friday Afternoon🌼
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week!! Super busy here getting the garden all good to go!! I love every second of being in the dirt🌱Found a beautiful Luna Moth in the garden today too💚
🌼I am planning on the Flower Porch being open next Friday with some Gluten Free Treats!!! I’ll keep you posted but for now I’m thinking Cinnamon Rolls and Lemon Zest & Blueberry Scones…feel free to message me if you would like to put an order in to secure your Gluten Free Weekend Goodies!!!
🌼We will also have our Botanicals & Keister Honey available as well as our soaps with our newest one to be available, Sunshine On My Shoulders!! It is filled with our own organically grown Calendula that was infused in Olive Oil, as well as dried Calendula petals in the soap and on top…it’s literally ☀️sunshine☀️ in a soap!!
