The 2026 Zero Landfill event was hosted by the IIDA Ohio/Kentucky Chapter last week! Brooke & Rheagan did their part to support. 💚

Zero Landfill is a community sustainability initiative where architects, designers, contractors and manufacturers donate unused material samples that would otherwise be discarded. Artists, educators, students, nonprofits and makers are invited to browse and take these materials for their own projects, giving them a second life instead of sending them to a landfill.

Events like these help reduce waste, encourage creative reuse, as well as connect the design industry with the communities they serve. Go Team! 👏🏼

Meet Rheagan McKnight, LMH's newest intern!

Rheagan is from Lincoln County, KY, and is a rising junior at Western Kentucky University pursuing her Interior Design degree. 👏 She plans to continue her education by earning a Master’s in Architecture upon completion of her undergraduate studies.

Rheagan is passionate about commercial design and is particularly drawn to creating strategic, experience-driven environments that support business goals and elevate how people interact within a space. While at LMH, she is focused on gaining valuable hands-on experience, strengthening her skills and expanding her knowledge of the AEC industry.

In partnership with DMK Development Group, LMH Architecture is serving as the design partner for Traditions of Saint John, a new senior living community now under construction in Saint John, IN.

The three-story, 117,000 SF development will bring a full continuum of care to a growing corridor of the community, including 47 independent living residences, 40 assisted living residences and 22 memory care residences. Designed to support both lifestyle and care needs, the community will offer dining, social engagement and personalized care services within a welcoming community environment.

The $35 million investment will expand senior living options for families in the region, as well as bring construction activity and long-term employment opportunities locally. It is expected to open in Fall 2027.
