We have been planting, planting, planting and digging, digging, digging. This weekend we have direct seeded 1200 sunflowers and hundreds of zinnias, cosmos, and celosia seedlings. Also, we now have water access in the back garden! A LOT of digging had to done to put this in but now we won’t have to drag 100 ft hoses thru out the yard 👏👏👏 Game changer! The blooms are gearing up for our June bouquets debut. Stay tuned for updates on how and where you can get them soon 🙌

Garden update: Lots of progress!

We have completed our dahlia area with planting the beds and pots. We planted about 600 tubers this year 👏

The border between our growing space and picnic + fire pit is in. We used recycled railroad ties-Love the look! We are still digging the trench for a new water line and drainage but hope to be done this week. Then irrigation can be placed in the rows.

We planted another six trays of flower seedlings into the raised beds to complete the Spring planting. All of the blooms in the raised beds were started by seed this year!

Next up will be planting the flower patch rows with summer blooms of sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos and celosia. Stay tuned for updates on summer and fall bouquet subscriptions. We are hoping to start offering bouquets in June. Can’t wait to share our blooms with you 💕🌻💐🌹

Weekly update— We have made a lot of progress with our upgrades this week thanks to wonderful weather.

We have:
✅ Filled 100 20 gallon pots for tubers
✅ Moved pots to rows
✅ Planted 250+ tubers into pots
✅ Tilled ground to prepare for flower rows
✅ Created garden arch and picnic area
✅ Trenched out drainage
✅Used recycled railroad ties to border garden vs personal areas

We are hoping to have our big planting day in the week or so 🤞🪏🧑🏼‍🌾🌻🌱.

That’s a wrap! Thank you for all your support this growing season. We grew more blooms, gained new supporters, learned lots of lessons and had the largest bounty yet. We are already plotting and planning the next phase for 2026. Stay tuned for so many more adventures and blooms
