Want to learn about beekeeping or start hives this coming Spring? Join the Northern Colorado Beekeeping Association in a virtual beginner beekeeping class. Over the course of three consecutive Saturdays, you will learn all the basics to start the first year of beekeeping specific for Northern Colorado via Zoom.

BONUS: all students will be virtually mentored via an email group through September.

Scholarships are available.
During the class, participants will learn:

· The lifecycle of a honey bee & what happens inside a hive

· The beekeeper’s annual calendar

· The bee’s need for pollen, nectar and water

· The equipment and supplies you will need

· How to assemble your hive and install your colony

· The opportunity to order bees thru NCBA

· How to evaluate the health of your hive
