Needed to replace the white flip up bar counter top with a much lighter option. So, I came up with this idea. I took a 3/4 inch thick pine board with lots of knots and lightly burned it and added a butcher block finish. It made for a very attractive but lightweight countertop replacement. I added four folding brackets to make it well supported.

First time working with versetta stone. It was fun working with and I thought the end product turned out great! Because it was in a cabin I was able to go around all the edges with chinking that matched the inside.
If anyone has any tips about a good way to camouflage two cut ends butting up against one another and matching I would appreciate it!

This is going to be one happy woman! The luxury of an 18 in dishwasher in a RV!! Most RVs that install dishwashers are those countertop dishwashers and that's considered luxury in a RV! So this is a real upgrade!
