Meet Corinne Maleski, '03 Samford interior design graduate!

"At Samford, I was taught proper architectural techniques and processes that allowed me to seamlessly enter the workforce as a young professional. Now with over 20 years’ experience, I continue to credit the gifted professors, tight-knit classes and exposure to real-world design scenarios for the strong start I was given in this challenging field."

Maleski is now Director of Interior Design for ahp Architects in Lowell, MA where she works with clients in life science, R&D, high-tech manufacturing and multi-tenant office spaces. She explains how Commercial Interior Design allows her to combine her artistic abilities with critical problem-solving and strategic planning to assist clients in creating spaces that are beautiful, distinctive and efficient.

Congratulations Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Inc. and thank you for all you do for the City of Lowell, MA - Government and beyond!

On Thursday, the Merrimack Valley Food Bank celebrated our relocation to 1703 Middlesex Street with a joy-filled ribbon cutting ceremony. The spring snowstorm could not keep away more than 150 people who came out to celebrate MVFB’s long-awaited new home. Attendees included current and former MVFB board members and staff, representatives from MVFB’s many community partners, elected officials, MVFB volunteers, and some of our organization’s donors.

Speakers at the ribbon cutting included Executive Director Debbie Callery, Board President and Founder Jimmy Good, Board V.P Danielle McFadden, Congresswoman Lori Trahan, State Senator Ed Kennedy, Mayor Daniel P. Rourke , and City ManagerTom Golden. A common theme ran through their words as they all touched on the importance of partnerships with various community organizations and leaders to the success of MVFB, and the ongoing importance of MVFB’s work and vision.

We also wanted to thank Celebrity Chef Ming Tsai and his team, who provided food during the event, as well as donating over 1,000 MingsBings for MVFB to distribute to our clients!

My, My, My...Mycronic! Fantastic working with Mycronic - MRSI Systems - Automation Engineering Inc. (AEi) on their new US Corporate Offices. A high-tech Swedish public company and manufacturer of high precision production equipment for electronics and optoelectronics industry, Mycronic occupies 40,000sf of office space and 60,000sf of assembly area. The fresh, collaborate office design is paired with spaces including a , specialty , and training areas. Thrilled to partner with Erland Construction, Inc. alongside Cushman & Wakefield on this unique, fast-tracked project in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
