After surgery for two hernias this spring, sitting still has been extremely difficult. I'm 6 weeks hernia free and feeling great. I am slowly getting back to work. Thank you to everyone for being so patient with my work schedule. If your on the list, I will be there, unless I get side tracked by mushrooms, hiking, weather, trees, or wildlife 😀🌳

Down with the Black Locust! If you have invasive or unwanted trees taking over your land, I can help. Doing some girdle and spray on these aggressive invaders hopefully brings these to a slow demise while other native and diverse trees can take over. 🌳

Happy to be part of this timber improvement project. The land owners are working with conservation professionals on restoring the timber after it was devastated from the Emerald Ash borer. With most of the thinning and felling already done, I had a few large compromised trees to fell. Bonus! Firewood Logs! 🔥 Got some nice Ash, Hackberry, and Elm. If you need assistance in timber restoration or management, there are excellent resources, programs, and conservation minded professionals available in our local area who can help. 🌳

Load #15 delivered. Only 7 more until I am caught up! We have not seen a winter like this in a few years, cold temps and deep snow. It's a perfect time for cutting firewood, doing some timber stand improvement, logging, and tree removal. I love it! 🔥

Some recent tree clearing I did. 48 dead Ash trees along a driveway, most of them were leaning over the driveway creating a hazardous situation for the property owner. With the use of my forestry winch I dropped every tree out of the way, keeping everything off the driveway and lawn. The logs were harvested for firewood and the tops can stay were they landed, out of the way. 🌳
