As much as I love a random day off of work, I really dislike burning through my hard-earned PTO waiting on a vendor whose arrival window is somewhere between “after lunch” but “before dinner.”

Window installs can be stressful, but with the right vendors and a little preparation, your day can run smoothly. Here are clips from our recent install, along with some helpful tips. ✅

A little prep on your end makes the crew faster and protects your stuff:

1️⃣Move furniture 3–6 feet from each window
Take down blinds/curtains ahead of time
Disable security sensors on windows
2️⃣ Secure your pets
3️⃣ Conduct a walkthrough with the installers at the beginning of the project, and again at the end
4️⃣ Have them test each window before leaving
5️⃣ Check the work throughout the week for settling purposes
6️⃣ Expect each window to take about 1-2 hours depending on type and location of the window
7️⃣ Now sit back and enjoy the clear view out your new windows!
