When you snooze, you lose. During an early spring storm with strong winds, my third birdhouse (large) in the trio, fell off its metal post. I failed to get it back in place before the plants grew so much. Now, I would be stomping down the plants, which is something I can't bring myself to do. So, that project will have to wait until winter.

The coco mat in the top basket of the double tiered planter had sunk quite a bit. Instead of replacing the whole thing, cutting a strip off of some left-over sheet coco mat and wrapping it around the top and tucking it in, worked well. Give it some time and the colors of the mat will match.

Tough little rock pink is a fun plant. A very low maintenance plant that blooms only in the mid to late afternoon The first photo, it is growing in an old trough. The second photo, in concrete tiles, as a fill in plant until the little donkey tail spurge plants that were transplanted into those tiles grows large and spills over the edge. 💚
