Why is this important?

It's really not... I just LOVE using henna that I haven't frozen yet 😄
The consistency makes it more fun to draw with, that's all.

🌿 Henna facts and opinions for today:

The back of the hands stain differently than the palms.
You will get a reddish brown henna stain on the back that is superimposed over your skin tone, because henna is a translucent plant dye.

The palms have more skin layers that suck up plant dye, and oxidize a bit differently...making the color redder, even purple if you are diligent about following aftercare.

Stains might only last a week...but for people who follow aftercare, some people can keep their henna design for 3 weeks.

The attention you get wearing henna may result in conversation. Prepare for that.

Hamsas ( henna on the palms that make you feel protected) are the prettiest hennas on the planet.
