🌿 Inventory Update from Back to Eden Nursery 🌿

Our inventory is currently running low as we work to restock more fruit trees and tropical plants. Many local farms were impacted by the freeze, so availability has been more limited than usual across Florida.

We’re actively working on bringing in more healthy, high-quality trees as soon as possible and appreciate everyone’s patience and continued support. 🌱

With the recent frost we experienced locally (down to 27° here!), we’re grateful the farm only dipped to 37°, keeping these trees in great shape and ready to thrive as our temperatures rebound. Cold snaps are part of our growing season rhythm — and many of these varieties benefit from a little winter chill before spring takes off!

🍑❄️ Peach Season Starts with a Little Chill! ❄️🍑

Our Tropic Beauty and Florida Prince peaches are now available in 7-gallon containers and ready for planting!

That recent frost we had? 🌬️ It may have felt cold to us, but your peach trees loved it. Peaches actually need chill hours (cold weather during winter) to properly set blooms and produce fruit. The cooler temps help trigger strong flowering and better fruit development in spring.

Both Tropic Beauty and Florida Prince are low-chill varieties — perfect for Florida growing conditions — and the recent cold snap is exactly what they need to get ready for a great fruiting season.

🌸🥭 Our Venus mango seems a little confused this season! Normally it flowers in late winter/early spring here in Central Florida, but this beauty has decided to put on blooms right now.

Mango trees can sometimes get “tricked” by shifts in weather, temperature swings, or stress, leading them to flower off-season. It doesn’t always guarantee fruit set, but it sure is a surprise to see flowers this time of year. 🌞🌦️

The seasons may be shifting, but the Venus mango is putting on a show! 💛
