Follow up to our paint shaver video. Here's a completed project where we removed a failing "lifetime" ceramic coating that was applied over cedar siding. The coating was trapping moisture and causing the trim and siding to rot, the coating was literally peeling off in sheets. The house and detached garage were completely shaved to bare wood. Any rotten trim and siding was replaced with quality cedar. New windows were installed in the garage loft. All surfaces were sanded prior to priming. 2 coats of high-quality exterior paint was applied to all surfaces for a long lasting finish.

Full removal of failing paint using a Paint Shaver hooked up to our HEPA vacuums. This system allows us to get back down to bare wood on clapboards or flat trim pieces. Once the old paint has been removed, we sand the boards, followed by primer, and top-quality exterior paint.

5 YEARS!!! December marks our 5 year anniversary, and what an amazing journey its been. We started the business with a dream, a few tools, an old truck, and a few great customers. Its slowly grown over the years allowing us to take on bigger projects, but with the same quality goal in mind. I am truly grateful for our customers and everyone that has supported us. I am looking forward to 2026 and beyond. Happy New Year!

With winter approaching quickly we are wrapping up exterior painting season. Our final large project of the year was the exterior restoration of the historic Huntington Homestead Museum in Scotland. The original structure of the building was built in 1700's and is listed on the national historic registry. Samuel Huntington was born in the house, he was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former governor of the state. Its always a privilege to work on these old historic buildings.

Could you deck use a fresh coat of stain? Our team prepped and restained 3 separate decks on this property. All surfaces were washed, fully scraped and sanded to remove peeling stain, and restained using SW Superdeck solid color stain.

We just wrapped up our first exterior project of the year. Check out this 1800's colonial. Lots of carpentry work repairing rotten siding and trim, followed by a classic green paint job. We also painted the shed, porch, and basement access doors to match.

Could your Basement use a face-lift? Our team took over from unfinished drywall and primed doors to help create a fantastic useable area. We finished the drywall and primed the walls, installed new trim throughout, and completed all of the finished painting.
