I have neglected social media for a while due to a massive project entering my life. My wife and I bought a house earlier this year and it was beyond just a fixer upper. Previous owner left sometime last year and essentially trashed the place. We are unsure of all the details behind what happened. But we got a great price on an amazing property that we saw the potential for so we bought it. Since then we have transformed something that was lost into something we awesome.

We’ve been busy doing apartment maintenace but this week we mixed in a tile backsplash. Removed the previous tile which no longer matched the new countertop, repaired the drywall or replaced where needed, and put the new backsplash on. The ever classic white subway tile paired with the more modern charcoal colored grout looks sharp.

Did an update not too long ago to an old tub and tile situation. Customer was thinking that mold was starting to grow behind the tile and didn’t want it to spread. After doing some demo it turned out that he was right. Updated to a new steel tub and fiberglass surround that mimics the look of tile.

We had a crazy busy end of the year and posting was pushed to the side. But we plan to be more active on social media this year. Currently All Things New is shifting toward a more maintenace / small jobs focus. We will post an updated list of things we do shortly. Here we made some furniture for a company helping them set up their Airbnb. We also installed lights, installed a bathroom vanity, painted a wall, and repaired a bed frame.
