Shorter days, cool mornings, school buses rolling down the road--it's beginning to feel like early autumn! If you're ready for a refresh of your planters for fall, we're stocked with a great selection of mums now budding and ready to bloom starting in just a couple of weeks. Because we grow all of our mums in-house, we're able to pick varieties that we know will last longer than box-store plants--our mums typically bloom for six weeks or more. Brand new to the plant world this year, Top Wave pansies are beginning to bloom in the greenhouse and we’re excited to share these amazing new plants with you! Winter hardy and strong blooming, they’re just like regular winter pansies, except that they also trail vigorously, making them great for hanging baskets and containers going into fall and winter. Top Wave varieties are also suitable for in-ground planting, where they will spread and fill up a space with easy-care color. What's Growing On? While you've been enjoying summer vacations, we've been planting--and we have plenty to share with you over the coming months! Our crops of 4", 6" and 12" mums are filling out nicely, and while they won't bloom until September (when the weather is cooler and the flowers last longer), they are available for sale now--so when you're ready for a planter refresh, we're here to serve you!
