My money tree now vs. then🥲
I got this gal back in July and she has been so easy to care for. They grow extremely fast in bright light but the leaves will burn in direct sun. They also can tolerate medium light but won’t grow as fast!

I love trailing plants they are my favorite.
I got a damaged Hoya kerii for 10$ and I’m really excited to nurse it back to life.
I also got some baby variegated string of pearls, string of turtles, hearts, needles, pink panther tradescantia, and a Hoya rope 😍

Good Morning ✨
I’m stuck at home waiting on covid results and my mind is racing. I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on plants in 2021. So I’m thinking of ways to turn it into profit in 2022💭

Plant of the day: Alocasia Polly 🪴
I grew this baby from bulbs I pulled from the mother plant. It took about 3-4 months for them to sprout. I put the bulbs in wet sphagnum moss and forgot about them. I thought they were duds after so much time and nothing happening until I came back one day to use the pot they were in and found lil sprouts. 2 weeks later and I’ve got 3 baby plants that will go for sale once they’re a lil bigger.

The photo on the right is what this lil guy will look like when it’s mature. They love bright indirect light and lots of humidity.
They grow from bulbs, so they are unable to be propagated by cuttings, unlike most plants.

This year I’m hoping to add some more plants from the alocasia family to my jungle✨

I literally forgot to water this stupid plant ONE time.
