UPDATE: We’ve passed our framing inspection and now the decking, fascias and lighting are coming together nicely! Next up - skirting and railings…

RTI completely rebuilt these 2 small decks in Redmond, WA last month. They feature a rain collection system below called Timbertech “DrySpace” which catches all rain water and drains it into a gutters and then footing drains.

The decks should last MANY DECADES with very little maintenance as we’ve included “joist tape” which waterproof the tops of the pressure treated lumber, as well as PVC decking & fascias, along with all aluminum railings.

We’re currently building this 600 square foot deck in Brier, WA. It will feature Timbertech products: two-tone composite decking, black aluminum railings with stainless steel cable and post cap lighting, stair riser lights, and composite fascia skirting down to ground level. We’ve passed the footing inspection and are going to town on framing! More to come…
