Gavita light poisoning. Symptoms are leaf curl, slowed growth, yellowing

When moving plants from a standard metal halide room into a gavita room be sure to spray your plants for bugs beforehand and dim your gavita lights down to 4 to 600 watts to start out. Gavita lights are much more powerful then metal highlights and can intensify or amplify broad mites and fungus gnat production. This coupled with way more micromoles can put your plant into a shock. Normally takes a week or two to pull out of. So before you switch use sprays and drenches and dim those lights
