What started as a 31-year-old main bathroom in a finished basement has officially entered the final stages of its transformation.

I stepped into this project after it had come to a complete halt due to issues with the original contractor. There were material delays, ordering issues, and several items that needed correction before I could move forward. Getting everything back on track took some time, but the heavy lifting is over.

It’s always satisfying watching a space start to take on its new form.

Still on the list:
• Tile installation on the three remaining sides of the tub
• Re-grouting existing tub tile
• Removing deteriorated caulk and re-caulking
• Surface repairs and painting
• Fixture installs and final detail work

I’ll share a full breakdown of the scope of work and more photos once everything is complete.
