The National Butterfly Center, operated by the North American Butterfly Association is located in Mission Texas and have been illegally encroached upon by construction of the border wall. It is devastating to habitat and species. According to NABA "ALL of them [species] will suffer from the elimination of habitat, the "maintenance" of the "enforcement zone" with herbicide, the installation of all-night bright stadium lighting. Butterflies, birds, insects, all wildlife and plants will suffer the deleterious effects of border wall."
