A hearty platter loaded with juicy steak bites, succulent shrimp, tender chicken, smoky sausage, crispy roasted potatoes, sweet peppers, and caramelized onions over creamy mashed potatoes. Every bite is rich, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
Proteins
450 g (1 lb) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
225 g (½ lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks
225 g (½ lb) smoked sausage, sliced
Vegetables
500 g (1 lb) baby potatoes, cubed
1 large red bell pepper, sliced
1 large green bell pepper, sliced
2 large onions, cut into wedges
4 cloves garlic, minced
Mashed Potatoes
750 g (1½ lb) potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 tbsp butter
½ cup milk or cream
Salt and black pepper to taste
Seasoning Blend
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
For Cooking
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
1. Make the Mashed Potatoes
1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15–20 minutes).
2. Drain and mash with butter and milk.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Cover and keep warm.
2. Roast the Potatoes
1. Toss cubed baby potatoes with olive oil and half the seasoning blend.
2. Roast at 220°C (425°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy.
3. Cook the Vegetables
1. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet.
2. Sauté onions and peppers until softened and lightly charred.
3. Add garlic during the last minute.
4. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Steak
1. Season steak cubes generously.
2. Sear in a hot skillet with 1 tbsp butter until browned and medium-rare to medium.
3. Remove and keep warm.
5. Cook the Chicken
1. Season chicken pieces.
2. Cook in the same skillet until golden and cooked through (internal temperature 74°C / 165°F).
3. Remove and set aside.
6. Cook the Sausage
1. Add sliced sausage to the skillet.
2. Cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges.
3. Remove.
7. Cook the Shrimp
1. Season shrimp lightly.
2. Melt remaining butter in the skillet.
3. Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
8. Assemble
1. Spread mashed potatoes in the center of a large serving platter.
2. Top with roasted potatoes.
3. Arrange steak, shrimp, chicken, sausage, peppers, and onions around the platter.
4. Drizzle with any remaining garlic butter from the pan.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of thyme.
Serving Tip
Serve with warm garlic bread and a simple green salad. For extra richness, finish everything with a tablespoon of melted garlic-herb butter just before serving. 🍤🥩🍗✨
