Between the sales ads, the cookouts, and the start-of-summer feeling, it’s easy for Memorial Day to become just another long weekend.

Today, we hope everyone gets to enjoy the sunshine, time with family, and a good meal on the grill — but we also hope to take a moment and remember why this day matters.

Memorial Day is for honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, so the rest of us could enjoy days like this in peace and freedom.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
