What a wonderfully fulfilling end to a long project. Happy Mothers Day to this wonderful customer and to all Mothers out there.

From Tree to Table:

This table came from a tree that the clients children used as home base for thousands of games of baseball, softball, wiffleball etc. Now that their children are grown and out of the house it serves as a reminder of the many memeries made around the tree

When the tree came down we milled it, dried it, shaped it and delivered it to the living room just 30 feet where the tree originally stood.

The top of this shaker inspired coffe table is made from a single slab of the tree. The base is made from a poplar beam recovered from a house just next door to the property and sports hand fit mortise and tenon joinery along with tapered legs for a timeless look.
