Bittersweet but thankful to have had the opportunity to come out of my hiatus to send out an arrangement one last time in Madison. 😢 As my family prepared to pack and move to San Diego it was a nice break in a creative space I had not visited for a few months. I will miss you, Madison! And all my flower friends! I am blessed and grateful to have met so many of you and enjoyed each of your gifts. Of course, these beautiful flowers are from and although in previous years I have not been a cactus zinnia person, these beauties surely converted me. 😍

Flowers are ready for purchase/pick up at Mercies Coffee 💗🥰🦄🌱

If you have already reserved a bouquet, they can be found in the buckets on the bottom that say reserved. Other unclaimed bouquets can be bought on site via Venmo. There is a sign with my QR code behind the stand.

Sadly there are not flowers at BeneBlends this month for purchase! I hope to catch you next month.

I’ve gotten in the habit of taking breaks after I feel like an arrangement is ‘done’ so I can come back to it and make intentional changes if I feel like it. (Because now there are a lot of sweet interruptions at my house lol) Before I would mess with it for probably hours, taking out stems, cutting things down, adding stems, etc. until I went cross eyed.

I hope this means I am settling into my ‘style’ more and becoming more comfortable with arranging a little more freely. Everything looks better when the pressure is off (I think). I use all the stems I can for subscription bouquets and sometimes have to get a little creative by foraging in my yard for extras to use in arrangements for my pick up locations. I like being resourceful when things get a little dicey! Enter: the butterfly bush 🍬🦋

We have been busy welcoming our second daughter, Olive Vivian, to our family. She was born on July 22nd, weighed 8 pounds and 7 oz, and was 20 inches long. We are so happy to be a family of 4. 🎀💗🩰

Things around here continue to slow down as we prepare for baby girl #2. Lots to be done around the house - painting, organizing, cleaning + resting and enjoying time with Beatrice before her sibling arrives. I didn’t feel this way during my last pregnancy but this time around I feel like either deep cleaning something or just taking a nap and those moments of motivation to clean are becoming less 😆 Not a lot of in between. Happy June ☀️

Enjoyed taking a break with the daffodils and muscari after work today. My intrusive thoughts lately have been about asking my neighbors if I can pay to cut some of their hellebore. 😬 They’re just so good right now and I don’t have any lol

I love the moss in arrangements I’ve been seeing come across my feed! This was my first time using pin frogs and those are dip dishes from Target. Simple and cute imo.
