Air-Lec Industries is now selling impact doors manufactured by EMS in Germany. These doors are unlike any on the market. They are made from a High-density polyethylene that is more durable and impact resistant than anything else on the market.

Our PE impact doors come with a flush window creating an easy to clean modern look and they come with special hinges that can be adjusted to allow for a 90°stop with just the turning of a screw.

Air-Lec Industries is now providing EMS insulated Swinging doors. EMS manufactures doors for ambient temperatures, refrigerated cold rooms and walk in freezers. With some doors rated to temperature as low as -40°F. These doors are also available as a single or double leaf design.

EMS offers insulated sliding doors which can be used in cold storage environments. EMS insulated sliding doors can be used in refrigerators, freezers and heated chambers.

Check this out, in this short movie the Over-Center is moving 8 feet tall by 6 feet wide explosive environment door. The explosive environment door weight’s 1200 pound and is being used to limit the damage of an accidental explosion.

This door operator pictured here is still in operation to this day. It was manufactured in the 1950s and was invented in 1936. At that time, the operators were made from cast iron. In 1974 the material used for the door operators were changed to aluminum. Since then, the design has changed over the years, but the basic geometry and principles have stayed the same.
