A big thank you to everyone for another successful food drive! The 36th annual Potter Lawson + Friends Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin Share Your Holidays event raised $34,263 (more than doubling our goal) and 2,133 pounds of food, for a total of 104,497 meals — more than ever before!

By it's 10th anniversary in 1977, over 1 million people had attended events at the Coliseum, with an economic impact of $34.5 million. That's more than $180 million in today's dollars!

This level of impact would not have been possible without the hard work of our robust local trades, whose expertise allowed what started as drawings and sketches to become an iconic Wisconsin landmark. We have been grateful to be part of a long history of local design and skilled craftsmen partnerships that have built this destination.

As the community anticipates the revitalization of the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, we're excited to see a second wave of economic impact, along with the continued partnership between designers and contractors!

Fun fact: the entire domed roof of Dane County Veterans Memorial Coliseum is free of mechanical equipment, allowing for clean lines and showcasing the intentionality of design Potter Lawson is known for.
