We have wrapped up our 2026 farmers market season and despite doubling our availability for spring have almost sold out of our plants! 🤯

I can't tell you how inspired I am by each and every one of you helping to make Madison and Dane County a sanctuary for pollinators and songbirds. Know that for every plant you have taken the time to plant, you are part of a wider community creating a connected ecosystem for struggling species here in south-central Wisconsin. Thank you for letting us be a partner in this incredible work you are doing. ♥️

We still have fun new thing planned for 2026 so stay tuned! More plants coming in late June.

Since it’s peak planting season I thought I’d open up some casual farm stand dates this week.

I’ll have our tables with plant photos and descriptions set up. We have 40+ varieties remaining. All are in 2.5” cups. We have plants for full sun, part sun, and shade.

Wednesday 5/20/26 1pm-7pm
Thursday 5/21/26 1pm-3pm
Friday 5/22/26 1pm-5pm

Please do not stop by to buy plants outside of these times! If you want more flexible hours, order online and stop by at your convenience for curbside pickup.

Pricing is as follows:
3 Pack Mix & Match: $15 + sales tax
20 Pack Mix & Match: $80 + sales tax
Single plant: $6 + sales tax

We take cash, card, and venmo.

Small batches of new shade-tolerant sedges are ready to go and coming with us to the Sun Prairie Farmers Market this Saturday 5/16!

Ivory Sedge gets 6" - 1' tall and prefers drier soil.

Long-Beaked Sedge gets about 2'-3' tall and prefers medium to moist soil.

Both work great as green mulch and in matrix plantings. Still two Brown Fox Sedges left as well!
