Here's a flood repair we did. We replaced the bottom 4' of Sheetrock,textured and painted the inside and out. Replaced the wood siding all around to hardy and replaced all the trim and most the facia. Replumbed the entire house. Replaced the front and back doors. Eliminated an exterior door. Removed a window and replaced it with double doors in the brick. Blocked off several doors and relocated the entrances. Removed several closets and expanded others. New mill work all through home(baseboard,doors,cabinets,benches and sills). Built a bench in the breakfast area,extended the countertops out farther. New wood floors throughout. New tile and vanities in bathrooms and expanded the master shower. Expanded the pantry and opened up the master bedroom. 3 custom barn doors faced in Acacia wood floor. New fixtures everywhere. Installed all appliances. Removed a very large covered porch off the back. New HVAC system. Before we did any of this we remediated the home from the water damage.
