What do you do after a sauna?

Most people focus only on the heat.

But the 30 minutes after your sauna session can be just as important.

That is when your body cools down, your heart rate settles, you rehydrate, and your nervous system shifts deeper into recovery.

A better post-sauna routine:

1️⃣ Cool down slowly
Give your body 10–20 minutes before rushing into anything.

2️⃣ Rehydrate first
Water, coconut water, or a light electrolyte drink.

3️⃣ Eat light if hungry
Fruit, yogurt, nuts, a smoothie, or a small protein snack.

4️⃣ Rest quietly
Stretch, read, listen to music, sit by the fire, or simply enjoy the quiet.
