FUN FACT: There are a few ways to determine whether you have mold or dirt. One way to distinguish mold from dirt is by smell!! Mold has a much more displeasing smell, much more like rotten wood or like wet socks. Whereas, dirt smells a lot more earthy, dry.

If you think that musty smell is mold, you can do a bleach test. With a few drops of bleach, place on a dark patch of mold, if the area in question lightens within 2 minutes it is most likely mold.

It is definitely important to address mold issues immediately seeing as it could post health hazards for you and your Ohana.
