Straight out of the garden warm from sitting in the sun all day was hands down the best watermelon Ive ever had. First time trying yellow watermelon and they will now have a place in my gardens forever.

These merigolds are every bit of 3+ft tall or more Ive never seen such big merigolds than again Ive never grown my own. I have hundreds of cherry tomatoes just ever so close to getting ripe. Have you ever grown a blue tomato? If not you should because A they are really cool and B theyre yummy. Im growing blue beauty slicing tomatoes and blue boar berry cherry tomatoes.

Part of my back garden thats going crazy, Ive allowed the queen annes lace aka wild carrots to go crazy along the fence line. Theres something about growing food that your family is going to enjoy that causes such a amazing feeling of accomplishment. We also have green beans growing in a different bed and corn. I already cant wait to start the fall garden.

Got Broccoli seeds lol, Ive had these for years and still have a ton. Even though theres a date on seed packets, seeds dont really go bad. Their germination might be low as the years progress but they twnd to surprise you. Over half the tomatoes, the jalapenos, cayenne peppers and cucumbers Im growing in my garden this year are all 4-5 year old seed stored in a plastic photo container or gallon ziplock where ever I find space to shove them.

The tomatoes have taken over the garden the lack of trellising has them just growing wild everywhere, the watermelons are going everywhere to and my banana peppers are over achievers. My cucumbers are being super slow growing. Green beans are going crazy to but I didnt feel like walkong to the green bean bed to take pictures.

A berry picking walk this morning on our land, some black raspberries, baby pawpaw trees and some yarrow.

The geese were super interrested in the duckling getting some fresh air. Its bird city over here even have some escape artist chickens who refuse to stay jn the chicken yard in the mix. All 14 of our duckling eggs hatched, we lost one baby after 3 days of trying to save it, as it was born with something wrong. So we have 13 ducklings and 10 teenage chicken joining our flocks. Someone tell me incubating my mille fleur d'uccle eggs is something I shouldnt do shes so sweet and pretty. 🤣🤣🤣

First hatched duckling of the season has made an appearance, doesnt matter how many time I do this I love hatch day.

All of these seed are 4-5 years old, I over planted every cup to allow for poor germination. Theyre doing way better than expected. The date on seed packages are not a expiration date, I didnt store these in a freezer or even in a cool dark area. Theyve been in a plastic photo box. I have 100% germination on more than half and 75-80% germination on all but my amish paste that are either really poorly germinating or just taking their sweet time.
