I got to spend last Friday volunteering with our local parks department removing invasive plants, planting native species and tending to the native garden 🌸🌿

I’m so grateful to have been a part of this effort along with the Parks Department and the Committee for the Environment in the Village of Mamaroneck — creating habitat for pollinators, improving biodiversity, and showing how beautiful sustainable landscaping can be in public spaces. 🐝🦋

Small community efforts like this make a lasting impact, and it’s exciting to see more native gardens taking root here.
