Preparing for changes coming to the residential HVAC industry!

We had the phase out of older R-22 refrigerant due to its depletion of the ozone, now we have the scheduled reduction in production of the “newer” R-410A refrigerant due to it’s high global warming potential

On Jan 1, 2025 equipment manufacturers can no longer produce products that operate with the “newer” R-410A refrigerant

With this deadline approaching we’re told manufacturers are going to be releasing the new A2L flammable refrigerant equipment beginning this year (R-454B & R-32) 2 different types which are not compatible & not all manufacturers will be using the same type

This new equipment will require special components that are considered spark free & ignition proof due to flammability of the refrigerant. Along with leak detection systems that will shut the system down and run the indoor fan to to ventilate if a leak is detected

These changes are bringing up to a 30% price increase on equipment that has already increased in cost over 100% since 2020‼️

There’s questions being asked that they don’t quite have all the answers too yet, however At Your Home A/C is staying on top and up to date with all information as it becomes available

Our cooling service is priced @ $150.00 for a single or first system, and $100.00 for each additional (same as the past few years, no price increase!)

We don’t offer $29-$49 “Tune-ups” that you see advertised, which are simply inspections to tell you the system needs serviced-or even replaced

Why not❓- because most systems, especially ones that have been neglected require some cleaning & service to even accurately check them

Priced to provide the necessary maintenance required such as:

-cleaning of the outdoor unit coil w/chemical if needed
-clearing & treatment of the condensate drain line & traps
-cleaning of any washable air filters, or replacing with customer supplied disposable
