NOW HIRING: PROJECT FOREMAN / LEAD CARPENTER !!!

Maple Valley Design Build is looking to hire a talented and experienced Project Foreman / Construction Manager to lead one of its Construction Teams. You will be the leader of a 4-6 person construction crew, working on new homes and large additions in the Manchester, Vermont area.

As the Project Foreman, you are responsible for the general and day-to-day activities on the job, scheduling and monitoring subcontractor work, ordering materials, ensuring the work is completed in a timely manner, with an emphasis on quality and safety. You are also responsible for supervising the use of machinery, such as a manlift or telehandler, along with typical construction tools such as a table saw, chop saw or router. You will be expected to be a problem solver, able to identify and resolve issues as quickly as possible and report progress to clients and supervisors.

You must have the ability to read construction drawings and specifications, have excellent organizational and communications skills, and a deep understanding of quality construction practices. We are looking for someone that is professional, confident and experienced.

Our projects are typically located no further than 30 minutes from Manchester, in places such as Stratton, Arlington, Dorset, Winhall and Londonderry.

We specialize in new homes and large additions focused on lasting quality and craftsmanship. Pay is commensurate with experience and employment is year-round and full-time.
