Spring is here and the ticks are just as excited as we are!

The good news is that we've got you covered! We use an odorless insect control that is non-toxic to birds, safe for wells, and allows your yard to be usable about an hour after application (or until the dew is dry).

Give us a call to sign up for our Flea and Tick services so we can help protect your family and pets this spring! ☀️

We're barely into spring and state scientists say they're seeing more deer ticks than usual.

☀️SPRING IS HERE!!☀️

Our season has officially begun here at The Green Scene! The snow has finally melted and we can't wait to see all those beautiful green lawns!

Here are a couple of things you might see on your lawn as we say goodbye to winter:

We had much more snow this year than usual, and with snow comes SNOW MOLD 😱 It appears as circular pink to white patches that can range from a few inches to a foot or greater in diameter. The good news is that its relatively easy to take care of. Just lightly rake the areas to increase air circulation, then as it warms up you should see improvement!

In addition to snow mold, you might also see some 1" wide pathways chewed throughout the grass. These are caused by mice and voles tunneling between the ground and snow pack in search of food. No need to worry, these areas will grow out and recover with the warmer weather and proper fertilization. We've got you 😎

Hang in there everyone, warm weather is right around the corner!
