Summer in Bethel and Sunday River has been booming these past couple years, no complaints here though, cleaning a beautiful house with all kinds of sun is worth it. This rental also allows dogs if anyone is interested in having a vacation. Book soon they're almost full!

One of the first things I learned being a housekeeper at an inn- try cleaning before tossing or replacing! Lots of filth is just surface stains that need a special cleaner or just a toothbrush and some bar keepers friend 👍 don't like chemicals? Baking soda and a lemon and some scrubbing! For the drain screen, soak in lemon juice and baking soda and scrub with a brush. For those new toilets that you can pop off the seat like shown in the picture as well as the screw under the toilet is a big spot for build up! If you have a bad smell coming from your bathroom, check your toilet!!

Been too busy to post! Here's some before and afters of a rental home I did! Current homeowners bought it last year and didn't have time to get detailed on cleaning before skiers came in, so before the summer crowd came, the house got a deep clean!

Took an hour to pull the 2 pink Weigelas for new ones this year so they don't get so bad again and pulled all the wild raspberry out of the stone wall and around the hydrangea! Now another layer of mulch, blow out the mess left from pulling the raspberries and the garden is good until the weeds come up!

Before and after of digging up all the iris bulbs, splitting them, weeding the area and replanting all of them! It was so bad it's been about 3 years since they've been able to bloom! Fingers crossed we get some blooms this year, but will likely have to wait until '22! One of the condo owners even started a rock border for them! 🥰
