Just because the ambient air temperature outside may be reading fifty to sixty degrees fahrenheit does not mean that the surface temperature of the wood is at manufacturer's instructions of forty five. Just started post quick video showing you the results of what half fast painting can do. Don't ever be afraid to question your contractors.I've never taken offense and guarantee my work one hundred percent as long as we follow manufacturers' instructions on the back of the can. That being said, just because it's sixty degrees out.And our neck of the woods does not mean that the surface temperature is ready to be painted.Therefore, your paint will not cure properly.Also I noticed that these areas were not primed. You cannot paint bare wood without primer.And if the surface temperature is below forty five degrees and there's also any moisture, which I also suspected it will not cure or bond correctly.
