Hurricane season is here, and prepping your pool is just as important as prepping your house. But did you know that doing the wrong thing can destroy your pool completely?

Here is the Pleasure Pools official storm prep checklist:
1️⃣ Shock the water to fight off incoming debris and algae.
2️⃣ Bring furniture indoors (Never throw it in the pool! It damages the finish).
3️⃣ Leave the pool UNCOVERED. Flying debris will destroy your cover.
4️⃣ Turn OFF the breaker to the pool equipment so the motors don't short out if it floods.

🚨 THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: NEVER drain your pool! The weight of the water holds the pool in the ground. If you drain it, the rising groundwater from heavy rains can literally float your entire pool out of the ground!
