Slow Construct is for those who build beyond buildings—across clay, metal, wood, textiles, lighting, and everything in-between.

If you’re an architect-maker, built environment creative, or somewhere in-between—join us. We review applications on a rolling basis.

[12/12] Meet the architect-maker exhibiting at Beyond Blueprints:

"Yoav Caspi is an architect, sculptor, academic and founder of Yoca Design, a studio sculpting reliefs and lamps. Yoca draws inspiration from architectural practice, investigating landscapes and their inhabitants through reliefs. The lamps add another dimension to the sculpting studio through illumination.

In academia, Yoav’s research focuses on new fabrication techniques and materials that inform unique and sustainable designs. Yoav is a senior lecturer at the Architectural Association and Kingston School of Art where he leads a design studio. He holds an MArch with commendation from the Architectural Association and a Fellowship of Higher Education from Kingston University. Yoav’s work has been exhibited internationally in London, Budapest and Jerusalem.”

[11/12] Meet the architect-maker exhibiting at Beyond Blueprints:

"Founded by Natcha Kucita, a Thai-born, London-based BIM Engineer and Ceramicist, Vessel of Light (VOL) was founded to create one of a kind ceramics tableware rooted in everyday practice and ritual. With precision, utilitarian shapes and poetry in mind, each piece is designed and slow crafted to last. Natcha enjoys experimenting on glazes as well as various traditional firing techniques such as raku, saggar and reduction firing using gas and wood-fired kiln to achieve one of a kind effects. Her work has been exhibited at various pop-ups in London and Thailand. Currently, Natcha makes small batch ceramics and offers intimate pottery workshops in her own studio space in Dalston.”
