Winter sowing is here! January is a great time to start seeds.
Trying germination of New Jersey Tea for the first time. These seeds need extra scarification before stratification, which for these involved pouring boiling water over the seeds and soaking for 24+ hours at room temp. I had a cup of peppermint tea since the water was hot! Viable seeds will tend to sink, which if that's correct and conditions are favorable the next few weeks, we should see some good growth in March/April.
Happy Planting!
